Some days are Death Cab days. This is one of my all time favourite music videos and I haven’t watched it in ages but right now I’m writing a story full of fire and it is fitting. This video kills me, I’ve cried a couple times watching it, the whole what to take, what’s precious to you and Billy’s brother! People are always worth more than things.
Hello neglected blog!
Here’s something from the nostalgia files for you. Been relying heavily on all the Feelings of my early twenties these tracks bring up to push through my last days before deadline. Kinsella everything yes always. Always.

It wouldn’t be Trin in the Wind if I didn’t sneak some music appreciation in.
Loving The Jezabels
I’m one of those writers who write to music. When I’m drafting I see and hear my story everywhere. I’ll spend hours on tumblr and flikr looking for the right images. And similarly I’ll filter whatever I’m listening to in order to find songs that connect to my story. I owe so much of my writing to the driving rock songs of The Jezabels.
Some days my entire playlist would consist of Jezabels tracks. The sound fit the mood and the mood carried through my fingers.
Epic, beautiful songs, each one its own story (and I may have snuck them into mine). Also the new album sounds amazing.
So here’s to you, The Jezabels, I love you dearly.
Trying to whittle down my hottest 100 shortlist from 126 songs to 10! Ridiculously hard.
